Formerly a critically acclaimed fashion, art, and culture magazine, Dossier was reborn in 2024 as a luxury travel, lifestyle, and culture publication by its original creators.
In its original incarnation (2008-2015), Dossier fused fashion, photography, art, and literature to create a dynamic editorial experience and cross-cultural discourse. Its subjects included high-profile names such as David Lynch, Hans Ulrich Obrist, Kim Gordon, Mark Ronson, Michael Pollan, Nan Goldin, Ram Dass, Robert Longo, Robert Pattinson, Solange Knowles, Stevie Nicks, Wim Wenders, Yayoi Kusama, Yoko Ono, and many more.
Dossier today draws on the same community and creative friction that originally earned it critical acclaim. However, its aperture has now expanded to include the whole world.
Dossier’s relaunch issue includes a trip to Marrakesh that weaves together fashion and travel captured by photographer Cedric Buchet; a conversation with Brunello Cucinelli about the present meaning of luxury and the prospect of a brighter future, an exploration of Hermès’ petit h atelier, a revelatory journey through Cambodia with photographer Camila Falquez, reflections from Christopher Bollen on the experience of being fitted for a Gucci suit, and a portfolio of collected travel wisdom from notable names.
The issue also features profiles on painter Jammie Holmes and Boucheron creative director Claire Choisne, a portfolio of paradigm-shifting photographer Deborah Turbeville’s work in Mexico, an examination of “designer veggies” with chef Dan Barber, personal essays, and other close takes on a wide world.
In addition to its semiannual print issues, Dossier also publishes a digital newsletter and serves as an editorial studio, offering collaborative and white-label services, ranging from custom publishing services and bespoke branded content to cross-channel editorial strategies, brand identity and voice creation, and more.
